Job summary

Piedmont Eastside is seeking an experienced RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down. This part-time night shift involves two 12-hour shifts weekly with some weekend work. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current Georgia RN license; BLS certification.
• New graduates eligible to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and document findings.
• Evaluate patient age and development for appropriate care.
• Organize data into care plans and set expected outcomes.
• Implement and monitor the plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Provide patient care appropriate to illness level and setting.
• Oversee activities of nursing and support staff.
• Identify teaching opportunities and provide resources.
• Escalate issues to Charge Nurse/Physician as needed.
• Document all patient care actions in the medical record.
