Job summary

Regency Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Alexandria, LA is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to lead education for clinical and non-clinical staff. You will design, implement, and evaluate training programs and you will also manage the nurse schedules within the facility, blending leadership with hands-on clinical oversight.

Responsibilities include coordinating onboarding, infection control leadership, and ongoing staff development, while partnering with department heads to address

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, education, or related field; master's preferred.
• RN license preferred.
• At least 2 years in clinical or educational healthcare role, LTC preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Infection control certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Staffing schedule management for the facility.
• Oversee recruitment within the building.
• Train and develop staff through programs and orientation.
• Create and facilitate training and continuing education.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and certifications.
• Oversee onboarding for new hires.
• Lead infection prevention and control efforts.
• Mentor staff and foster a learning culture.
