Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN Staff Development Coordinator to plan, organize, develop, and direct in-service education in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

The role focuses on planning and directing staff training and orientation, maintaining records, and promoting excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will hold an RN license with a nursing degree and prior education experience; CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma (associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing).
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1 year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training.
• Maintain associate training and in service records.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
