Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is hiring an RN Staff Development Coordinator at Life Care Center of Kennewick to plan, develop, and direct in-service education for nursing staff. You will ensure compliance with laws and Life Care standards while fostering quality patient care.

The role requires RN licensure, a nursing degree, teaching experience, and CPR certification; prior skilled nursing and education experience are preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position offering hourly pay.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing required
• Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree) required
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
• Teaching/education experience preferred
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, in service, and orientation
• Maintain associate training and in service records
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Assist in the evacuation of patients
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
