Job summary

Life Care Center of Winter Haven, part of Life Care Centers of America, seeks a Staff Development Coordinator (RN) to lead in‑service education for nursing staff in a full‑time, days shift role. The incumbent will plan, develop, and direct education programs in compliance with laws and Life Care standards.

Required: RN license (Florida), nursing diploma, and CPR; teaching experience preferred. 1 year of skilled nursing experience preferred; bi‑weekly pay, biweekly intervals.

Qualifications

• RN with active license in good standing.
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.
• CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, in service, and orientation.
• Maintain associate training and in-service records.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients as needed.
• Communicate and function effectively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Uphold patient rights, safety, and sanitation standards.
