Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN Staff Development Coordinator to plan, organize, develop, and direct in-service education in accordance with Life Care standards. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

The role requires a nursing diploma, active RN license, and teaching/education experience preference. The candidate will train nursing and other associates, maintain education records, and ensure compliance with laws and Life Care policies in a post-acute care setting.

Qualifications

• RN nursing diploma (associates or bachelor’s)
• Active RN license in good standing
• CPR certification on hire or during orientation

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, in service, and orientation
• Maintain associate training and in service records
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Assist in the evacuation of patients
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
• Read, write, speak, and understand English
