Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN Staff Development Coordinator to plan, organize, develop, and direct in-service education in compliance with Life Care standards and applicable regulations.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, and experience in nursing education or teaching. CPR is required. The position emphasizes staff training, records management, and adherence to policies, with responsibilities across patient care settings.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s) required.
• RN license active in the applicable state.
• 1 year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Teaching/education experience preferred.
• CPR certification required (upon hire or during orientation).

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, in service, and orientation.
• Maintain associate training and in service records.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Demonstrate ability to work on an interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively.
• Ensure compliance with Life Care standards, laws, and regulations.
