Harborside Health & Rehabilitation in Washington, DC is seeking a full-time RN Staff Development Coordinator to lead orientation and education for nursing staff. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and drives staff development programs to meet facility goals and patient care needs.

The ideal candidate has an RN license in DC, a BSN is preferred, and at least 3 years of nursing experience with exposure to long-term care and some supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing with current registered nurse license. BSN preferred.
• Licenses/Certification: A Registered Nurse licensed to practice in District of Columbia. Must maintain CPR certification.
• Experience: At least 3 years of full-time nursing experience; 2+ years in long-term care; 1 year in management/administrative or supervisory capacity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct orientation for all facility hires and address educational needs of the facility.
• Act as Educator and facilitator for nursing staff; identify staff learning needs and implement/evaluate programs.
