Job summary

Harborside Health & Rehabilitation in Washington, DC seeks an RN Staff Development Coordinator to lead orientation and educational programs for nursing staff. This full-time role reports to the Director of Nursing and focuses on identifying learning needs and implementing training initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a DC RN license (BSN preferred) and at least three years of nursing experience, with two years in long-term care and one year in leadership.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing with current RN license. BSN preferred.
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in DC with CPR certification.
Minimum of three years of full-time nursing experience; at least two years in long-term care; one year in management/administrative or supervisory capacity preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate orientation for all new facility hires and the educational needs of the facility.
Serve as educator and facilitator for nursing staff.
Report to the Director of Nursing and contribute to the management team.
