• Must have an active RN license in MD.
• Experience as SDC or infection preventionist in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong ability to build relationships and gain staff support.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and staff competency requirements.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate staffing levels to support resident outcomes.
• Develop, coordinate, and provide education and training for staff.
• Conduct orientation and ongoing in-service education for policy compliance.
• Maintain education records, competency validations, and documentation.
• Assist with admissions and support nursing workflow.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify educational needs.
• Monitor mandatory training compliance and clinical competencies.
• Support quality improvement initiatives through education and coaching.
