Job summary

MediLodge of Livingston is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator Registered Nurse to lead the center's staff development program. You will assess education needs, plan and implement training, and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements, working collaboratively with the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications include RN licensure and a BSN preferred, with CPR certification and state CE requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program; RN licensure required.
• BSN preferred; ongoing education encouraged.
• Current CPR teaching certificate, if applicable.
• Maintain state CE requirements and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate Staff Development program.
• Assess resident and staff education needs and design curriculum.
• Ensure compliance training and proper documentation.
• Collaborate with DNS to ensure competency assessments for nursing staff and CNAs.
• Conduct orientation programs for new and contract employees.
• Manage Employee Health program and OSHA/Risk Management tasks.
• Assist in department budget and monitor expenditures within limits.
