Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator (RN) at Garden Terrace Alzheimer's Center of Excellence in Aurora. This full-time, hourly role plans, organizes, develops, and directs in-service education in compliance with applicable laws and Life Care standards.

Qualifications include a nursing diploma (ASN/BSN) and an active RN license. CPR certification is required or obtained on orientation, with preferred teaching/education experience and at least one year of

Qualifications

Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing).
Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred; Teaching/education experience preferred.
CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation; CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, in service, and orientation.
Maintain associate training and in service records.
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
Assist in the evacuation of patients.
Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
