Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN Staff Development Coordinator to plan, organize, develop, and direct in‑service education in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

The candidate will hold an active RN license and nursing diploma, with teaching experience and CPR certification. Preferred is 1 year of skilled nursing experience; role includes training nursing and other associates, maintaining training records, and upholding professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or higher is required.
• Active RN license in the applicable state.
• Teaching/education experience is preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, conduct, evaluate, and coordinate staff training, education, in service, and orientation
• Maintain associate training and in service records
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Assist in the evacuation of patients
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
