Job summary

Pleasant View Communities in Manheim, PA is seeking a part-time Staff Development Coordinator. This role focuses on developing and directing in-service education for licensed nursing staff, conducting orientations, and supporting inter-disciplinary team meetings to elevate resident care.

Ideal candidates bring RN licensure, 5+ years of nursing/management experience, and strong leadership and communication skills. CPR training and regulatory knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 5+ years of recent nursing or clinical experience, including management roles.
• Knowledge of long-term care state and federal regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• CPR certification and positive interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and direct all in-service education.
• Responsible for conducting new hire orientation.
• Attend inter-disciplinary team meetings.
• Assist with additional staff training related to skills competency.
• Participate in Quality Assurance program.
• Provide ongoing staff CPR training.

Responsibilities of Staff Development Coordinator:

Education

Experience

• Must have, as a minimum, two (2) year’s of experience in a nursing care facility.
