Job summary

Pleasant View Communities in Manheim, PA invites a dedicated Staff Development Coordinator to lead in-service education for a compassionate resident-centered team.

The role requires RN licensure, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), and 2+ years in a nursing facility with supervision and teaching responsibilities. You will oversee orientation, inter-disciplinary meetings, and ongoing CPR training in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a nursing care facility.
• Experience in supervision and instruction of staff.
• Strong leadership, communication, and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and direct all in-service education.
• Conduct new hire orientation.
• Attend inter-disciplinary team meetings.
• Assist with staff training related to skills competency.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and provide CPR training.

Responsibilities of Staff Development Coordinator:

Education

• Develop, organize, and direct all in-service education
• Responsible for conducting new hire orientation
• Responsible for attending inter-disciplinary team meetings
• Assist with additional staff training related to skills competency
• Participate in Quality Assurance programProvide ongoing staff CPR training

Experience

• Must have, as a minimum, two (2) year’s of experience in a nursing care facility.
• Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, etc.
• Must possess skills in leadership and communication.
• Must possess creativity, integrity, and initiative.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of recent nursing or clinical experience (including management level roles)
• Current knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to long term care
• CPR certification
