Job summary

Riverside Health & Rehabilitation Center in Danville, VA is seeking an RN Staff Development Coordinator. The role manages and provides required education to the entire staff and oversees employee health, including Hepatitis B vaccinations and PPD checks.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with 2-4 years of nursing experience and clinical training. They should be capable of teaching CNA classes and will work with the HR manager on new hire orientation and ongoing in-service education.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with 2–4 years of nursing experience.
• Experience in staff education and in-service training preferred.
• Knowledge of employee health programs and infection control.
• Ability to teach CNA classes or willingness to obtain CNA instruction qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver ongoing staff education programs.
• Oversee employee health, including Hepatitis B vaccination administration and annual PPD checks.
• Coordinate new hire orientation with HR.
• Identify educational needs and implement in-service programs to maintain clinical skills.
