Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Downtown Medical Group in Billings. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate outpatient care for pulmonary patients within a multidisciplinary team.

Primary duties include triage, administering treatments, and educating patients and families. Minimum qualifications include an RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 1 year clinic or acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• One year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtains and documents health history, vital signs, and health risk factors; assesses condition.
• Delivers care per guidelines; administers prescribed medications and monitors progress.
• Educates patients and families about health status, maintenance, and management of conditions.
