Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients following established standards.
• Obtains patient consent and ensures confidentiality.
• Documents health history, vital signs, and assessments.
• Delivers prescribed treatments and medications and monitors progress.
• Educates patients and families about health status and disease management.
• Documents data using EMR and forms.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve care.
• Monitors quality data for care management.
