Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, MT, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Downtown Medical Group's Sleep and Resp Suite to support the pulmonary care team.

The role emphasizes nursing care in an outpatient setting, patient education, triage, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and other clinicians. 30 hours weekly with flexible on-site shifts.

Qualified candidates will hold an RN license, BLS/ACLS, and clinic experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required.
• BLS or ACLS is required.
• One year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent and ensures confidentiality.
• Documents health history, vital signs, and assessments; plans care.
• Executes prescribed treatments and medications and monitors progress.
• Educates patients and families about health status and management of conditions.
• Documents data using medical record forms and systems.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes.
