Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Downtown Medical Group – Sleep and Respiratory Suite in Billings, MT. You will provide outpatient nursing care, triage, and coordination with pulmonary team under physician leadership.

Candidates should have an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 1 year of clinic or acute hospital nursing experience. BSN preferred, with 30 hours/week across Mon-Thu and Fri half-day.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required.
• BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtains and documents health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors and assesses disease condition.
• Executes prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers prescribed medications, and monitor and document treatment progress and patient response.
• Educates patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Documents patient assessment and intervention data using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
• Tracks quality assurance data and monitor for acute and chronic care management.
