Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Downtown Medical Group’s Sleep and Respiratory Suite in Billings, MT. The role focuses on outpatient clinic care, triage, and coordination with a pulmonary team.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, BLS/ACLS, and clinic or acute care nursing experience. BSN is preferred; shift is 30 hours weekly, Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30 and Friday 7:30-12, with a rotating day off.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required
• One year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtains and documents health history, vital signs, chief complaint, and health risk factors.
• Provides patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and laws/regulations.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors treatment progress.
• Educates patients and families about health status and condition management.
• Documents patient assessment and intervention data in medical records.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes.
• Tracks quality assurance data and monitors for care management.
