Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, MT is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Downtown Medical Group Sleep and Resp Suite. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate outpatient care, coordinating with the pulmonary team and physicians to deliver evidence-based treatment.

The role requires a nursing degree, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS; one year of clinic or acute hospital experience is preferred. Regular on-site duties include triage, patient education, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent and documents health history, vital signs, and risk factors.
• Provides patient care per guidelines, standards, and laws; administers medications and documents progress.
• Refer to physicians and other providers to prevent/resolve problems.
• Educates patients and families about health status and self-management.
• Documents and coordinates care in medical records; participates in multidisciplinary teams.
• Tracks quality data and supports improvement of care outcomes.
