Job summary

Villa At Rose City is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. The RN provides and coordinates nursing care for residents, following physician orders and ensuring safety and quality.

The role includes administering medications, monitoring vital signs, supervising CNAs, documenting care, and adhering to infection control standards. Benefits include daily pay, tuition assistance, 401(k), health insurance, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards.
• Provides and receives nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas and treatment spaces.
• Directs and supervises CNAs to ensure care adheres to standards.
• Takes and records vital signs, administers IV therapy and other treatments as ordered.
• Transcribes physician orders to MAR and resident charts.
• Prepares and administers medications as ordered by physician.
• Documents care and resident responses clearly in charts.
• Counts and reports discrepancies with controlled drugs at shift change.
• Addresses safety risks and maintains a safe resident environment.
• Completes written and oral shift reports and recommendations.
• Manages admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
