Job summary

Villa At Rose City is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN is responsible for a group of residents during a shift, providing and coordinating nursing care according to plans of care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, vital signs, IV therapy, and maintaining documentation, while supervising CNAs to ensure high-quality care. A current RN license and CPR certification are required, with preferred LTC experience.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and per standards and regulations.
• Provides and receives nursing reports at shift change.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas and treatment spaces.
• Directs and supervises CNA services for the unit to ensure compliant care.
• Administers medications and IV therapy within license limits as ordered.
• Transcribes physician orders to MAR, treatment plans, and charts.
• Charts nurse notes reflecting care provided and resident response.
• Counts controlled drugs with the nurse on shift and reports discrepancies.
• Ensures a safe environment, addressing safety risks promptly.
• Admits, transfers and discharges residents to meet needs and safety.
