Job summary

FutureCare is seeking an RN Shift Supervisor in Maryland to lead a dedicated nursing team and ensure high-quality resident care on a shift basis. You will supervise nursing staff, assess resident needs, and coordinate with other departments to maintain efficient unit operations.

The ideal candidate holds an active Maryland RN license, a BSN is preferred, and 1–3 years of managerial experience in a geriatric setting.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Maryland is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• 1–3 years of managerial/leadership experience preferred; experience in acute/ skilled nursing facility.
• Current CPR license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all nursing personnel and nursing-related functions on a shift.
• Assess staffing and resident needs and direct care.
• Work with adult geriatric population and serve as role model for safe, effective nursing care.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department and coordinate with other units.
• Seek opportunities for growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain clinical competency.
