Candidates must hold Maryland RN license, Bachelor s in Nursing preferred, CPR certification, and prior nursing leadership

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland.
• Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university strongly preferred.
• 1- 3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills a plus.
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or skilled nursing facility.
• Must possess a current CPR license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all nursing personnel and nursing functions on a shift.
• Assess staffing and resident needs and direct care.
• Work with an adult geriatric population.
• Serve as role model for staff with safe, effective nursing care; supervise clinical aspects.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department.
• Coordinate with others to ensure efficient unit operations.
• Pursue growth opportunities to expand responsibilities.
