Job summary

Baptist Health System is seeking an experienced nursing leader to supervise clinical operations and coordinate shift-based patient care. The role includes coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers, and acting as a resource and role model for the staff.

Qualified candidates will have graduate- level nursing education and a track record in staff supervision, performance evaluations, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and assigns patient care on shift and acts as unit flow coordinator for admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Supervises daily operations of the department and staff performance; supports performance improvement activities.
• Ensures compliance with quality, patient safety and regulatory standards; participates in staff evaluations.
