Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays, ensuring quality and continuity of patient care at Baptist Medical Center East.

The RN will use the nursing process for assessments, planning and execution of care, collaborating with physicians and other clinicians to optimize patient outcomes. Additional duties may be assigned within the scope of the role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required, BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required, BLS required, Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc) may be required depending upon area assigned

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel on shift, and during weekends and holidays.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and interventions.
• Perform care interventions to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
