Job summary

Mission Trail Baptist Hospital, part of Baptist Health System, seeks an experienced nursing leader to drive clinical excellence and simulate superior patient outcomes. This leadership role coordinates patient flow, admissions, discharges, and staffing while guiding a team of nurses.

The role requires an active Texas RN license and a bachelor's/master’s in nursing (preferred), with a track record in unit-level supervision and staff development.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Active Texas RN license is required.
• National Specialty Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision on shift and coordinate patient care.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers; act as unit flow coordinator.
• Plan staffing for next shift with Director/Clinical Manager.
• Support staff evaluations and participate in performance reviews.
