Job summary

Baptist is seeking a nursing leader to supervise and coordinate the day-to-day delivery of patient care in a hospital setting. This role includes oversight of operations, staff training, and performance evaluation to meet organizational goals.

The ideal candidate has nursing experience with management responsibilities and a focus on cost-effective service delivery, patient safety, and quality improvement. A Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years nursing with 1 year of management experience.
• Leadership experience using problem-solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the day to day delivery of patient care.
• Supervises daily operations, activities, and personnel of the patient care area.
• Participates in the goal setting process, recommends policy and procedure and assists in evaluating programs.
• Acts as a change agent, evaluating present systems and creating efficient, effective systems as necessary.
• Demonstrates the professional role model.
• Implements cost effective solutions.
