Job summary

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking an experienced nurse leader to supervise patient care units, collaborating with management on staff evaluations, patient flow, and staff education. The role also serves as a patient/guest service ambassador and helps solve problems during tours of duty.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing for current and upcoming shifts, participating in hourly rounding, and ensuring care is delivered in line with hospital policies and the Baptist Health mission.

Qualifications

• BSN required or equivalent, with RN licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by unit.
• Minimum 3 years nursing leadership/ supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and leads patient care units.
• Provides staff evaluations and supports staffing and education.
• Coordinates staffing and nursing assignments for current and upcoming shifts.
• Participates in hourly rounding and ensures compliance with hospital policies.
• Acts as patient/guest service ambassador and resolves issues on tour of duty.
