Job summary

Spencer Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to cover Same Day Surgery and Post-Op Recovery. You will apply the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with the team, and ensure high-quality outcomes for diverse patients in a rural Iowa setting.

Two full-time positions are available, with a 72-hour pay period and a self scheduling block. On-call duties apply for nights, weekends, and holidays; salary offers, IPERS retirement, and education opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• IA RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Ability to multitask and work with diverse patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Same Day Surgery/PACU area using the nursing process.
