Job summary

Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital in northwest Iowa seeking a registered nurse to provide postoperative and acute care. The role requires an IA RN license or compact state, BLS/ACLS, and offers a Nurse Residency Program for new grads. Shifts are 12 hours, with rotating days/evenings/nights/holidays/weekends. Qualifications

• RN license required for Iowa or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process for postoperative and acute care patients requiring hospitalization.
• Assume responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during the specified work period.
• Collaborate with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care.
• Utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols for physical and psychological needs.
