The role requires directing investigations, reporting to the Department of Health, and partnering with the DON to uphold high care standards. Qualificações

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Must have documented hands-on experience submitting accident and incident reportables to the DOH.
• 3+ years of RN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or sub-acute facility.
• Experience as ADON, Risk Manager, Quality Improvement Coordinator, or Clinical Supervisor in long-term care.
• Deep understanding of DOH reporting mandates, state surveys, and risk containment.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the investigation, documentation, and mandatory reporting of all facility accidents, incidents, and reportable events to the DOH.
• Partner with the DON to oversee daily nursing operations and maintain high clinical quality standards.
• Conduct root-cause analyses on clinical incidents and implement immediate corrective action plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local DOH regulations and lead state survey readiness.
• Educate and train nursing staff on safety protocols, risk reduction, and incident documentation.
