Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN Resources Supervisor for the Stepdown unit to work FT nights. This role involves 4x10 hour shifts from 6pm to 4am, leading nursing staff and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The Supervisor will supervise staff, ensure compliance with Mercy Service Standards, and coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• RN license in hiring state/compact licensure and must meet state board requirements.
• Education: ASN/ Diploma/ BSN to qualify.
• Experience: 1 year of critical care experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
