Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN Supervisor for the Stepdown unit on nights to lead the shift and ensure high-quality patient care. This full-time role includes supervising staff, coordinating care, and maintaining safety and patient rights.

The position requires an RN license, a nursing degree (AS/BSN), and critical care experience. BLS/ACLS certifications are preferred, with a $10,000 bonus for experienced nurses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Active RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Experience: preferred 1 year of critical care experience.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS may be required or completed within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Supervises nursing staff on the Stepdown unit and ensures safe patient care.
