Job summary

Staffers in Rib Lake, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our nursing team on an as-needed basis. You will supervise CNAs and other staff while delivering patient-centered care, assessing resident needs, developing care plans, and administering medications.

Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The position requires flexibility to work shifts in a 24/7 healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the practicing state.
• Recent clinical experience, education, or specialty skills specific to the population.
• Demonstrate understanding that state and Federal rules and regulations govern the practices within a facility.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of infection control principles and practices.
• Ongoing pursuit of Continuing Education Credits in clinical subjects, management, personal growth and development.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and positively with staff, residents and family members.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn required software.
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
• Must meet all local health regulations including drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and supervise care delivery to residents alongside other nurses and CNAs.
• Assess resident needs and develop and monitor individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and document care accurately in residents' records.
• Observe changes in residents and report to the Nurse Manager.
• Collaborate with physicians and health professionals for coordinated care.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and safety regulations.
