Job summary

Staffers in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the nursing team on an as-needed basis. The RN will assess resident needs, develop care plans, administer nursing care, and supervise CNAs and other staff to ensure quality care for residents and their families.

Responsibilities include bedside nursing care, medication administration, documenting medical records, and collaborating with physicians and health professionals to adjust plans of care.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current registered nurse license in the practicing state.
• Recent clinical experience in resident care.
• Demonstrate understanding of state and federal nursing guidelines.
• Ongoing continuing education in clinical subjects and management.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents and families.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn required software.
• Must maintain regular attendance and meet local health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to residents.
• Assess resident needs and develop individual care plans.
• Administer medications and report discrepancies to the Nurse Manager.
• Supervise CNAs and other personnel in delivering nursing care.
• Document all medical records and reporting forms accurately.
• Communicate with physicians and other health professionals regarding changes in care plans.
