Job summary

Staffers is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the nursing team in providing high quality care for residents in Sheboygan, WI. The RN will assess needs, develop care plans, administer care, and supervise CNAs and other staff to ensure compassionate, compliant care at all times.

Responsibilities include coordinating with physicians, documenting accurately, and responding to changes in resident conditions.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Recent clinical experience or specialty skills related to the population served.
• Demonstrate understanding of state and federal rules governing practices in a facility.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of infection control principles and practices.
• Ongoing pursuit of continuing education credits in clinical subjects, management, and development.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident needs and develop individual care plans.
• Administer nursing care, evaluate outcomes, and supervise CNAs and other personnel.
• Liaise with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Ensure accurate documentation of medical records and reporting forms.
• Respond promptly to changes in residents' conditions and adjust plans accordingly.
