Trident Medical Center in Florence, SC, part of HCA Healthcare, offers a year-long Nurse Residency Program that is paid and designed to transition student nurses to registered nurses with hands-on experience, mentoring, and structured learning.

You will receive advanced clinical training, monthly education sessions, preceptorship, simulations, and mentoring while delivering patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BLS obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS obtained within 1 year of employment.
• SC RN license (or Graduate Nurse) and current status.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• No previous experience required.
• Some travel may be needed for training.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patient needs as part of admission and shifts.
• Deliver medications and monitor therapeutic effects.
• Document care and communicate changes to the medical team.
• Provide patient and family education using clear, simple language.
• Collaborate with care team to support an exceptional patient experience.
