Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of employment.
• Other Certifications may be required during employment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in South Carolina.
• No previous experience needed.
• Some travel may be needed for training.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Document care in the patient medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor response, notify provider and intervene as needed.
• Deliver exceptional care by promptly responding to patient requests and anticipating needs.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers about condition, status, treatment plan, medications and follow-up measures.
