Job summary

Genesiscareers in the United States is seeking an International Registered Nurse (RN) to join a long-term care team. Under supervision, you will begin with a structured orientation and training until licensing requirements are met, with no direct patient care during that period.

You will observe and participate in patient care planning, delegation, staff supervision, and evaluation of the plan of care to reduce rehospitalizations.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed by a U.S. State Board of Nursing or have license endorsement in process.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• View implementing and managing patient care.
• Watch care planning.
• Observe how to delegate care responsibilities to staff.
• Watch staff supervision to ensure tasks are performed per policy.
• Observe evaluation and adjustment of the plan of care to minimize re-hospitalizations.
