Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital offers a 12-month RN Residency Program beginning Fall 2026, designed to transition new graduates to professional nursing. The program combines precepted orientation with blended learning, mentorship, and cohort experiences across multiple units including Acute Care, Critical Care, ED and OR.

Qualifications

• Leadership, communication, initiative and judgment required.
• Clinical competence and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• BLS certification or higher required for RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using nursing processes.
• Coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff and resources.
