Piedmont Atlanta Hospital offers a 12-month RN Residency Program starting November 2026 to transition new graduates into professional nursing through education, mentorship, and hands-on practice in Acute Care specialties. The program blends precepted orientation with blended learning to enhance clinical judgment, communication, and peer socialization.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse and BLS CPR certification.
• BSN preferred; advanced certification in specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Coordinate patient care activities with assigned staff.
