Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is launching a Fall 2026 RN Residency Program that guides new graduates from student to professional nurse through education, mentorship and blended learning experiences. The 12-month program includes precepted orientation and opportunities across Acute Care, Critical Care, ED, Women’s Services, OR and more.

Residents will build clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and a commitment to quality and safety in patient care within a supportive, learning-focused

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing program (for those graduating August 2026 or earlier).
• Current GA RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license required.
• BLS CPR certification required (upload card to application).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across lifecycle using nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with assigned staff to ensure quality care.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability within Piedmont policies.
• Participate in transition-to-practice activities and mentorships.
