Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is launching its RN Residency Program beginning November 2026. This 12-month, comprehensive transition-to-practice program combines precepted orientation, mentorship, and blended learning to help new graduates develop clinical judgment, communication, and professional socialization within Acute Care specialties.

Residents gain exposure in Post-Surgical/GI, Neurology, Orthopedics, Renal, Oncology and General Medical, with strong focus on quality and safety, teamwork, and

Qualifications

• Graduate nursing program completion required.
• BSN preferred for advanced practice readiness.
• Current RN license in Georgia required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across the lifecycle under supervision.
• Participate in residency education, mentorship, and blended learning.
• Support quality and safety initiatives at the point of care.
• Collaborate with preceptors and care teams during onboarding.
