Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare's RN Residency Program at Piedmont Atlanta begins in November 2026. This 12-month transition-to-practice program supports new graduate nurses with education, mentorship and blended learning to prepare for quality, safe patient care.

It combines precepted orientation with structured learning experiences. Residents will develop clinical judgment and communication skills, participate in cohort experiences, and engage in didactic content tailored to new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program and Georgia RN licensure required.
• New graduate nurses eligible for the residency program.
• BSN preferred and active BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 12-month transition-to-practice program with education and mentorship.
• Develop clinical judgment and communication skills for safe patient care.
• Engage in precepted orientation and blended learning experiences.
• Work within Acute Care specialties at Piedmont Atlanta.
