Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital offers a 12-month RN Residency Program beginning February or March 2027 to support new graduate nurses through education, mentorship and blended learning experiences.

The program includes clinical rotations in Medical/Surgical, Transplant, Cardiac Progressive Care, Critical Care, Emergency Department, Operating Room, Cardiovascular Operating Room, Women's Services and more, with precepted orientation and a structured cohort model.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing program required.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate privilege required.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across the lifecycle using the nursing process.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care with assigned staff.
• Demonstrate leadership, communication, and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
