Job summary

Shirley Ryan AbilityLab seeks a Registered Nurse for the Registry on the day shift in Chicago, IL. You will perform age-specific nursing assessments, develop and coordinate care plans, and educate patients and families about care and expected outcomes.

Applicants must hold an Illinois RN license and CPR certification, with a BSN/MSN or ADN plus commitment to BSN/MSN within 2 years. This role reports to the Nurse Manager and supports SRAlab’s mission.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois.
• CPR certification.
• Bachelor/Master of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing with plan to complete BSN/MSN within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients and coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Instruct patients and families about care, disease, outcomes and home care.
• Prepare reports on patient care plans and document care plans and progress.
