BayCare Health System is seeking an Operating Room RN for Saint Joseph's South in Riverview, FL. The role requires 2+ years of RN experience with at least 1 year in the OR, working in person on a full-time schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. BLS and department-specific ACLS are required as applicable.

• Status: Fulltime
• Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• On Call: Yes

Summary

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN is also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of RN experience. For consideration for this position, at least 1 year RN experience in the Operating Room is required.
